Let me share with you a poem I got from my darling husband…(kilig!!!)

For the woman I love,

On this special day,

I write you this poem
In my own special way.

I wanted to tell you,

In words of my own,

You’re the most treasured person

My short life has know.
At times life with me is difficult…

When you try your best but you don’t succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can’t sleep
Stuck in reverse?

When the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can’t replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
But…

Lights will guide you home
and ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you.
Because…
You make me feel special,
You make me feel new,
You make me feel loved,
With everything you do.

My eyes light up when you enter a room.
I smile when we are together.
No matter how bad things are,
You always make them better.

I love the way you kiss me,
The way you hold me tight.
I love the way you touch me,
And cuddle with you all night.

You hold me close when I am sad.
You supported me when I was down.
I was useless,
But you did not frown.

I just want you to know,
That even though we sometimes argue and fight,
I will always love you!
No matter if I am wrong or right.

So…

Hold me as close
As you possibly can,
‘Cause now and forever,
I am your man.
O ‘di ba, poetic?

We oftentimes tell a lie to shield the ones we love from pain and hurt.  But a lie works like a double-edged sword that can hurt even when used with good intentions. Deception and dark secrets are deadly poisons that could snatch away the life out of human relationships.

Each of us has secrets that we try so hard to keep from others.  It could be out of fear that they may not be able to understand and accept our truth.  We all are afraid of hearing judgment especially from those we hold dearly in our hearts.  But what one must realize is that telling the truth is a way of inviting people into one’s life.  People may not like what we give them but it will send the message that they are trusted and that they matter.  One should trust that the truth will help enrich a relationship, and will set both parties free from emotional bondage thereby allow each individual to experience each other fully - without reservation.  Beyond the lines of truth awaits freedom and the promise of a strong, mature and mutually satisfying relationship.  Liberate one self by trusting that others can handle the truth.
